Staining procedure | STAINperfect immunostaining kit A (protocols for cell cultures, whole mounts, tissue sections) |
Format | 50µL (approx. 40 tissue sections) |
L-Glutamate Antibody IS018 is a mouse monoclonal antibody designed to detect L-Glutamic acid with high specificity and affinity. It shows minimal cross-reactivity with D-Glutamate or L-Aspartate.
This antibody is species-independent and has been validated in mouse primary neurons as well as human iPSC-derived neurons.
IS018 is optimized for immunofluorescence and works particularly well when combined with the STAINperfect immunostaining kit A. It is suitable for use on cell cultures, whole mounts, and tissue sections.
The recommended dilution range is 1:250 to 1:1000 when using the diluent provided in STAINperfect kit A. The protocol should be adapted to the type of sample being analyzed
For short-term use, the antibody should be stored at +4 °C. For long-term storage, it should be aliquoted and kept at –20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze–thaw cycles.
Each vial contains 50 µL of purified monoclonal antibody, which is typically enough for staining around 40 tissue sections.
Yes, this antibody is available for order. It comes with technical support, including direct access to the scientist who developed it, and is backed by quality guarantees.
Yes. L-Glutamate Antibody IS018 is strictly for research use only and is not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
Yes. It has been used in peer-reviewed studies, including a 2019 publication where it was applied to stain L-Glutamate in human iPSC-derived neurons.
The STAINperfect immunostaining kit A provides optimized buffers and protocols that enhance the specificity and reproducibility of L-Glutamic acid labeling, ensuring consistent and accurate results across different sample types.
The anti-L-Glutamate antibody IS018 was validated in mouse primary neurons in combination with the STAINperfect immunostaining kit A. A recent paper also used this mouse monoclonal antibody to stain for L-Glutamate in human iPS-derived neurons.
