Among mechanisms associated with cancer immune evasion, the activation of the Kynurenine Pathway (KP) is known to play a key role and has thus been proposed as a therapeutic target to improve current immune checkpoint blockade-based immunotherapies.

We developed and validated a newSerine ELISA kit (#IS-I-1200) which allows for L-Ser quantitation in biological samples including plasma, sera as well as cell culture supernatants. The assay requires a low sample volume of 10μL and is characterized by a 2.4µM sensitivity.
Read moreGlutamine metabolism is an attractive therapeutic path in immuno-oncology. Glutamine level should rely mainly on Glutamine quantification, which can now be addressed by ELISA!
Read moreNew therapeutic options in immuno-oncology consist in manipulating metabolic pathways. Whatever the mechanism of action of drug candidates Arginine remains a suitable surrogate biomarker of Arginase activity. Its quantification can be approached by ELISA!
Read moreWe have set up and validated a series of antibodies targeting key neurotransmitters, including among others dopamine, serotonin, glutamate, noradrenaline. Besides antibodies, and for appropriate biological sample preparation, we developed an immunostaining kit that allows for immunofluorescence staining of various types of biological materials, as illustrated in these recent publications.

Read moreNovel therapeutic options in immuno-oncology consist in manipulating – directly or indirectly – metabolic pathways such as the one of IDO to relieve the immunosupressive functions of M2 macrophages. As to investigate innovative direct or indirect modulators of IDO activity, Kynurenine and Tryptophan represent valuable biomarkers to be measured and can easily be adressed through ELISA kits which thus offer screening capacities.
Read moreArginine (ARG) is a basic non-essential amino acid well known to participate in physiological functions such as i) vascular tone homeostasis as contributing to the production of nitric oxide (NO) and ii) immune response control, through NO synthase (NOS) and Arginase enzymes, respectively. Our new validated IS-I-0400 ELISA kit allows for the determination of ARG in serum and plasma samples of a volume as low as 20μL and with a sensitivity of 2.1µM.
Read moreThrough the degradation of L-Tryptophan, the Kynurenine pathway (KP) generates a series of catabolites collectively known as Kynurenines, which can exert immunomodulatory and/or neuroactive properties. Known to respectively harbor neuroprotective and neurotoxic functions, Kynurenic (KYNA) and Quinolinic (QA) acids are found to be dysregulated in several neuroinflammatory disorders including Parkinson and Alzheimer disease but also Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis and Multiple Sclerosis. We developed novel ELISA detection kits to monitor the imbalance between KYNA and QA levels in neurological diseases and evaluate the ability of novel KMO inhibitors to restore equilibrium within the KP and mitigate neurodegeneration.
